After being up all night on the side of the mountain in the freezing cold, we got rewarded with a glorious sunrise the next morning. Here is the Matterhorn dipped in golden first light

After another day of rain, the weather cleared up just in time for sunset. The golden hour certainly lived up to it's name today.

Last Light Of The Day

After a day of clouds and rain, we left the restaurant where we had dinner and I saw that the sun was about to peek through. I had my camera bag with me though it has not gotten much action the whole day, so I ran down to the lake and made it just in time for the last few rays to hit the clouds and the waves. The contrast of gloomy clouds and joyful sun rays had something peaceful about it and it made up for another rained out vacation day.

Beating The Storm

I saw this poor kid pushing his bicycle up a very steep hill with the storm clouds moving in quickly. You could clearly see how much he was in a hurry to make it home before the rain starts.
